Clean Air Auto Repair
CAAR (Clean Air Auto Repair) is a program run by the Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) that aims to reduce air pollution by fixing high polluting vehicles. The program provides financial support to eligible vehicle owners to repair their vehicles. By participating in CAAR, vehicle owners can help improve air quality in Colorado and get their vehicle back on the road!
CAAR A RAQC PROGRAM
Our Repair Services
The CAAR program is a program of the Regional Air Quality Council. We work with you to repair your vehicle to ensure you can pass your emissions test. If approved we pay for the repair to get you back on the road.
Emissions Evaluation
Emissions evaluations assess pollutants released by your vehicle, ensuring compliance with regulations and identifying what repairs your vehicle may need.
Pass Emissions
We work with you to get your vehicle to pass emissions. If approved the state emissions testing center will reach out and determine the emissions of your vehicle.
Eligibility
Are you eligible for a free repair? Depending on the vehicles year, engine type, model, type of repair and a few other factors. You may be eligible for a free auto repair.
Heavy Repair
The program may cover the cost of heavy repairs for your vehicle. This means that if your car requires significant repairs, you may not have to pay for them out of pocket.
RAQC Funded
If approved we fund up to 100% of the cost of the repair. No costs to the vehicle owner without the vehicle owners approval.
Catalytic Converters
Catalytic converters reduce emissions. Damaged converters lead to poor performance. Repairs range from simple fixes to complex replacements. CAAR is here to help.
